We are running this series to provide tips on how to score more marks in GPSC Class 1/2 Prelims which is to be held on October 21.


So how many of you have been revising current affairs but still not sure if it would help you score more marks or not? Here is the tip to revise your current affairs right way so that you can score at least 25 marks πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺmore in the GPSC Prelims Paper 1/2.

1. Start with GEOGRAPHY
Read all the places which were in news from January 2018 to September 2018. (Like Doklam Plateue, Gaza Strip in Israel to Earthquake in Indonesia) 



2. Second priority is POLITY
Read all the bills and acts which were in news this year. (example. Triple Talaq)

3. Third priority is Organisations that were in news this year 
Starting from Niti Ayog to ASEAN summits or BIMSTEC which were in News this year. It will help you score at least 5 more marks in Paper 1

Also remember the heads of bodies like Niti Ayog, BCCI 




4. Read United Nations Framework on Climate Change. Only remember where its last COP was held? or What are the commitments made by India in INDC Goals?


5. Don't ignore Defence and Space news - science and technology



   
     More than five questions will be asked from this section. Don't ignore it. So follow current affairs from January to September and it will boost your scores by 7 marks in Prelims 2018 of GPSC Class 1/2

6. Take the current affair module of February and March - Read everything about Gujarat and India Budget.
